My home currently has more cats than children...
Lawrence and I fuss a lot over the washer and dryer.
I don't do kids laundry anymore.
I barely do my own and Bill's.
So when something is left in the machine it makes me mad.
However I often leave stuff in the machine because I put it in to wash while I go to work etc.
Double standard for sure but heck I am older (and it is my washer/dryer).
Just throw my stuff on the couch if it is in your way I'll get back to it... Don't wad it up but lay it out and it's ok.
Well this has turned into a battle of wills ..
If the laundry gets left in the washer or dryer long enough well some servant will take it out and fold it... "hell no I won't"...
so yesterday after grabbing something out of the dryer to wear to school;
(damn that dryer looked just like a closet to me and low and behold it did to Bob the cat too...so Bob crawls in to nap on the nice warm dark colored Dickies ..everything was cat purrrrfect...dark colors so no one will see the curled up cat and cozy and warm...hmmm nice place to sleep....
Only it was a "bad for Bob" type day and hurriedly on the way to the medical lab to get blood drawn after fasting (and those of you who know me know how I am when I don't eat) I must have pushed my bedroom door which pushed the dryer shut...
Poor Bob... locked in his closet (dryer) all day long
Poor Lawrence... cat pee on his Dickies....
(thank the good lord no one turned on the dryer and I am soooo glad Bob is OK)

Yeah - that's why I just don't let my kitties in the dryer in the first place. They are just dumb :-)
I don't even let my kitties in the laundry room! I am a paranoid about cats and kids getting hurt but I am so happy Bob is not hurt and I have to admit I snickered a little when I read the part where the Dickies got peed on.
